A research conducted by the South Eastern University Of Sri Lanka affirms that majority of people visit Sri Lanka more than one time manly as every respondent was satisfied with the wellness tourism practised in the country. The international travel magazine Conede Nast Traveler places Sri Lanka among the Top Countries in the World for tourism according to the ‘Readers Choice awards 2023’. The rich bio-diversity together with most of the tour expectations provided to the most satisfactory level by the industry has been the major cause for an anticipated tourist attraction of more than 2 million new arrivals in 2024.
